The essentials

  • No cookies. This website sets no cookies and uses no consent banners. Your chat history is kept only in your browser's local storage (required for the chat to work, discarded after 24 hours; you can clear it any time via "restart system" in the chat).
  • Hosting in Germany. The site runs on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Gunzenhausen, Germany.
  • AI chat. Neo, our AI companion, generates its answers with Anthropic's Claude language model, connected via Google Cloud's Vertex AI service (provider: Google Cloud EMEA Limited, Dublin, Ireland). Your chat messages are processed exclusively in data centres within the European Union (EU data residency) – no third-country transfer takes place in this respect. A data processing agreement with Google (Cloud Data Processing Addendum) is in place, and neither Google nor Anthropic use content processed via Vertex AI to train their AI models. Please do not enter sensitive personal data in the chat. Chat messages are also logged on our own server for quality assurance and abuse prevention; IP addresses are only processed as pseudonymous hashes. These server-side logs are deleted automatically after 30 days.
  • AI literacy. The operator of this website has completed AI-literacy training under Art. 4 of the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) – participation certificate PROV-2026-18259 by Provimedia GmbH, valid until 22 August 2027 (verification). This is a certificate from a private provider, not a state or accredited certification.
  • Signals. When the chat recognises a concern as a "signal", it is stored and shown publicly and permanently in the Resonance Field on our homepage in anonymised form – a short topic text with no link to your person. Your first name is only added with your explicit consent in the chat, revocable any time by email.
  • Inquiries. If you send an inquiry via the chat, the details you provide (name, email, optionally phone, your request) are emailed to us and additionally stored in our database on our own server in Germany – delivery is handled by Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Berlin, Germany) as our processor.
  • Analytics. We use self-hosted, cookie-free Umami analytics on our own server. No data is shared with third parties and visitors are not tracked across days.
  • Fonts. All fonts are self-hosted; no connection to font providers such as Google Fonts is made.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw any consent with effect for the future.
