Social media idea board
"We really should post something again." – And then someone sits in front of the empty field and posts nothing after all. Not out of laziness: it's not the will that's missing, it's the material.
Social media idea board
01Social media idea board
Yet the material is lying around the business: the question that came in three times on the phone this week. The finished project everyone's proud of. The move that's second nature to you and amazes clients. The idea board gathers exactly this material – client questions, projects, everyday moments – and turns it into concrete, written-out content ideas: for social media, for the website FAQ, for the newsletter. "What should we post about?" becomes "which of the twenty ideas first?". Publishing stays deliberately with you – the board supplies a stock, not an autopilot.
Straight up: automatic posting isn't the default here – what goes out is your call. For practices and firms there's an extra rule: no cases, no client or patient stories, not even anonymised in thought. And if social media is simply secondary for your business, I'll say so – an idea board isn't compulsory.
02Demo
Three moments, as they happen in any business – and what the board makes of them. The trick is the multiple use: one moment, three formats.
03How it works
- 01
Tap the sources
Where does material arise with you? Client questions, project photos, team moments, reviews, emails – the sources get named and a simple gathering path set up.
- 02
Collect raw material
A few weeks of honest collecting – or a focused workshop that empties the team's memory. Usually more raw ideas come together than could ever be posted.
- 03
Cluster and prioritise
AI sorts the material into topics and formats: what works as a series, what as a single post, what actually belongs in the website FAQ? You decide which of it fits you.
- 04
Write the ideas out
Bullet points become concrete proposals: hook, draft copy, image idea, channel. Close enough to finished that publishing no longer takes an effort of will.
- 05
Set rhythm and sign-off
Who selects, who posts, how often is realistic? Better one reliable post a week than three weeks of fireworks and then radio silence.
04Stages
From a one-off stock to a settled system – depending on how much content routine you want.
Entry: the idea workshop
A one-off gather, cluster and prioritise of raw material – you go home with 20+ concrete, written-out ideas.
Extended: the board in everyday use
Board plus set-up AI workflows anchored with you – the team gathers and develops further itself.
Full build: the mini tool
A small tool of your own with import (transcripts, emails, questions) and automatic clustering – for businesses where content runs continuously.
05Technical implementation
- The board lives where you work: Notion, Airtable, a shared sheet or a small content board of your own.
- AI clusters raw ideas, client questions and references into topics and formats – and drafts in your tone.
- Output per idea: post copy, image idea, channel recommendation – plus cross-use as an FAQ entry or newsletter topic.
- Optional: import of transcripts, meeting notes and emails as raw material.
- Publishing is done manually via your channels – LinkedIn, Instagram, newsletter, website.
- Tiers 1 and 2 need no hosting of their own – the Tier 3 mini tool runs as a small protected app.
for context · This shows how something like this usually gets built – not how it has to be built for you. What actually fits is worked out in the project: around your existing setup, your team, and what stays easy to maintain.
